Bernshell Love Me Tender is known at home as "Buckle", she is a very special addition to the Bernshell Kennel name as I bred her myself. Her dam, Jafrak Paloma for Bershell was bred by Mr & Mrs J. Krall, the breeders of the 2008 Crufts best in show winner "Jafrak Phileppe Olivier"
Buckle's show career got off to a fantastic start, qualifying for crufts as a puppy along side her sister "Bershell Love Me Do". Buckle was awarded 1st and her sister 2nd at Crufts in 2004. After crufts Buckle was placed at varios open and championship shows, including Best Puppy at the Giant Schnauzer club of Great Britain.
Buckle is an excellent dog to own, at home her behaviour is impecable and does us proud, her temperement is faultless in every situation including when she is playing fetch the ball with my 3yr old son, always dropping the ball when he instructs her to do so.
She is an imposing, very muscular lean dog, ready for anything she demands lots of running, swimming and plenty of varied exercise.
She enjoys nothing more than a 2 hour trek through Epping Forest, or country parks of similar landscape as do all my Giants.
