Jade came to us in October 2007 from the Heezedoorn's kennel of Marina Dogl in the Netherlands. She is a daughter of a dog that I have much admired, Multi CH Laquite's Dakota von Iceman who can be seen at

Jade and her travelling companion endured an 18 hour ferry crossing from Zeebrugge to Rosyth in Scotland but as the ferry company provide pet friendly cabins, we were able to make friends on the journey and have some much needed rest on the way home.
Jade has now settled in very well at Islamorada and we think that her bloodline will be a valuable addition to our kennel. She has even accepted a change of name from being Ola in the Netherlands to being Jade in Scotland.
It is hoped that Jade will produce us some lovely pups in 2008.
