"Eddie" is owned and bred by my close friend Anne Mette Sletthaug from Norway. He is a son (by AI) of the famous Scandinavian Champion, Mjaerumhaegda's Classic Sound, who was owned by Anne Nerrell of Sweden many years ago His pedigree contains many old, very influential British lines, including Ch Nortonwood Faunus.
"Eddie" is full of character, very loving and a natural showman. He is a dog of substance, totally balanced, with lovely head, gentle expression and jet black pigment. Good neck and shoulders with excellent upper arm. Lovely front with straight legs, good bone and tight feet. Body short coupled, deep through the heart and strong in loin. Dead level topline and tailset. His strong, well angulated powerful hindquarters give him exceptional driving movement from the rear. Good second thigh with short strong, straight hocks which are held naturally parallel both standing and moving.
Although he will be shown at a few selected shows in the summer of 2008, his main purpose in coming to me was to introduce his bloodlines to Amirene. He leaves in the Autumn but frozen semen will be available after he returns home to Anne Mette.
