Keltie produced her litter to 'Reiver' - Tenfield Sea Biscuit (who has his own page on this website) four days early and meant we had a rather unusual Christmas Eve.
Unfortunately two puppies were stillborn, but Keltie has been a fabulous mum to four boys and four girls. This was a very even litter and a very very nice litter! All of the puppies will be various shades of gold.
The top photograph shows three generations - Keltie is second from the left and her litter brother 'Bentley' (Tenfield Challenger - who is an Open Show Best of Breed winner) is on the far left. Solar (Tenfield Chamomile - KCSBN, Ch Show places including Crufts and also an Open Show Best of Breed winner) is pictured second from the right and is Keltie and Bentley's mum. On the far right is Rhyme (Stanroph Spring Rose at Tenfield, also an Open Show Best of Breed winner), whom we unfortunately lost age 13½ years just five days after the puppies were born. Rhyme was Solar's mum and the puppies' great granny.
The puppies 'Alvin' (pictured) flew to his new home in Estonia on February 9th. His sister 'Kiara' (Tenfield Tornealven) has gone to live with Reiver's brother in Doncaster at the 'Goldmali' kennel and will be seen in the show ring later along with her brother 'Squire' (Tenfield Tresillian) who lives near Andover. We are most proud that 'Roo' (Tenfield Tern) has joined Dogs for the Disabled
and is in training as an assistance dog.
