Kia is the mum of this due litter and she is a lovable dope. She is my 5th generation of Kalimors and the daughter of my adorable Sh Ch Cavalmist Coco at Kalimor who is the daughter of the beautiful Sh Ch Kalimor Cassis who is the litter brother to my Sh Ch Kalimor Cooper.
Kia's hip score is 2,2 and Zac's is 4,4
Kia has had a go at showing and she even got 2nd in a huge class at Crufts 2005, but unfortunately she does not enjoy it. Her favourite thing is to lay down in the ring and refuse to get up. As you can imagine this is a little embarassing so we have given up showing for a while and hopefully after her litter we can have another go at it.
Kalimor Weimaraners are situated in 160 acres of Hertfordshire countryside and all my puppies are home reared and live in the house with other dogs, cats and visiting children. They are almost house trained when they leave here as summer weather allows me to leave the door open and as soon as they awake they are taken straight out to the lawn where they always perform. They are also well socialised and become part of our family from the day that they are born
The Dad of this litter is the handsome Zac who is a full champion and was top winning weimaraner last year in this country. Both he and Kia have the most gentle temperaments and that is the most important consideration when it comes to choosing a sire. Fortunately Zac has the lot.... brains, beauty and kindness in abundance.
Kia was scanned when she was 4.5 weeks in whelp and the vet saw 12 puppies but I am seriously hoping that she doesn't have that many.
I have 6 puppies booked but possibly will have more to find the right homes for.
