Lanseaux Sandpiper at ten weeks photo by: Marion Yates Lanseaux Scout & Lanseaux Resolve at three months photo by: Peter Yates | | Our aim with Ceri's litter was to achieve the dual-purpose labrador - good working ability and a true example the breed standard. The pedigree of this litter shows Field Trial and full Champions over the generations.
Ceri is our younger bitch and has excellent hip scores at 3:2 and a clear eye certificate (May 05).
The Sire, Sealpin Enigma (Digby), from Edward Martin's Sealpin Kennels in Jedburgh, is well known for his working progeny. (See the Sealpin website at www.gundogs.co.uk.) Digby also has excellent hip scores at 3:3 and a clear eye certificate (July 04).
Ceri's puppies were born on 22 July and we had a delightful litter of:
4 yellow dogs 3 black dogs 3 black bitches
The pups are Kennel Club registered and started going to their new homes on 16 September. Ideally, we wanted to see our puppies go to homes where they can develop their inherent working ability whilst being part of the family. We are very particular about where our puppies go. It is important that their new owners understand what is involved in taking on a labrador puppy and have the necessary time to devote to them.
