![]() Someone likes having their picture taken already! ![]() Take my best side, please.....! | Slovakian Rough Haired Pointers (Slovensky Hrubosrsty Stavac) are a fairly new breed to these shores. Dating back to the late 1950s, the SRH originated in Czechoslovakia following World War II and is believed to be a 1/3 Weimaraner, 1/3 Cesky Fousek (a breed recognised by the FCI) and a 1/3 German Wirehaired Pointer. The result? An all purpose working dog that has an attractive rough coat with distinctive colouring reminiscent of its Weimaraner ancestor.
