Puppies are black and gold with long hair and will be suitable for active families and for dog sports such as working trials, obedience and agility.
This is the 'Winter S' litter - all pups have winter then a word beginning with S for their names - Abby the little girl is Funfastquick Winter Star and the boys are Winter Sun, Sky, Storm, Sports, Splash and Shadow. This is in honour of their mother Sophie whose KC name is Winters Mystic Sophie. Winter Shadow is very poignant for me as Shadow was the name of my first shep. Fortunately he's going to some lovely people and is now called Max.
The parents are hip and elbow scored, the sire is haemophilia clear. Both parents have fantastic temperaments.
Sire Zico (Tolberg Jumping Jack) is from mostly show lines, but competes at TD Open level in working trials. He is of excellent temperament with a great work ethos.
Dam Sophie (Winters Mystic Sophie) is from English working lines with working trials champions (WT Ch Berwartstein Enard (PDEx) and WT Ch Major Force (PDEx and TDEx) in her pedigree. She has just started her agility career and looks to be enjoying herself! She is a gorgeous girl who loves life, agility and playing with the other dogs, she is particularly fond of Ski.
Pups will make excellent active pets and will go far in any dog sport. They are likely to be around 25" -26" tall
All pups are KC reg and have been vet checked. They'll leave with a Royal Canin puppy pack, 6 weeks free insurance, information on bringing up your puppy and full 5 gen pedigree. Pups are KC registered with paperwork completed and ready to take with your pup.
Pups are now seven weeks old and real pups now. They are weaned and love their food - no delicate tums in this litter! Their characters are showing through and their fur is gorgeous - colour and length now showing. They are big gorgeous pups, taking everything in their stride.
My dogs are all housedogs and the puppies were born in my bedroom - the first two were born on my bed as that's where Sophie felt happiest. After that she went into her whelping box. When they're older they'll be out and about a bit, getting used to noises, cats, dogs, visitors etc. There were no problems with the drive to the vets - pups took everything in their stride.
The sire is a local dog and is well known in working trials. We didn't think that he carried the solid black gene and this litter (7 black and gold) probably proves this. See his webpage at gracorngsd.co.uk
