Polly & Jeff have produced a lovely litter of 9 pale coated puppies, 2 girls & 7 boys.
They are chunky puppies who didn't need to be shown where the milk bar was!!
If you are interested in one of these super puppies please email me with details of your family, lifestyle & work commitments. We are looking for permanent, family homes.
10th July
Pollys' pups are doing well & all putting on weight & I feel that none of them will need topping up.
15th July
The puppies have more than doubled their birthweight, Polly has decided she would rather watch them from the kitchen floor as it is cooler. She is eating well & even finishes up Jason's food if he leaves any.
19th July
Puppies eyes have now opened, so another milestone.
25th July
Puppies are doing well I have started worming them, which they seem to disapprove of! Famillies will be visiting this weekend & the next one, so as not to have too many visitors at once.
26th July
Due to unforseen circumstances one of our dog puppies is now available to the right home. All the boys are lovely & chunky with beautiful heads & good bone.
29th July
Puppies are now 3 weeks old & up on their legs. They can be quite vocal at times. I have now commenced weaning & as with previous litters have started off on lean beef mince.
4th August
All puppies are fine & with the puppy panels round they have so much more room. They have now started on puppy porridge which once they got the hang of lapping they loved. Polly is still going in & feeding them but only for a few minutes. I shall worm them again later this week & then next week they will go to the outside kennel.
6th August
Due to cancellation I now find myself with a lovely little girl puppy available. She is very sweet with loads of character & a bundle of fun!!
10th August
The little girl puppy has now been booked but the little boy is still looking for a lovely home.
All the puppies are coming on in leaps & bounds with very little between them. They are now eating 2 mince beef meals & 2 Beta meals. They play a lot with each other & are not so dependent on Polly who spent her 1st night totally away from them with Flame & Katie.
11th August
Today the pups spent a few hours in the kennel but with bad weather forecast over the next few days they will come in over night.
17th August
Pups have now spent 2 nights in the outside kennel & seem to have settled well. As you can see from the latest photo Jason (from Katies last litter) loves to play with them & they love him. He tires them out then (hopefully) they go to sleep!!
25th August
The puppies will be starting to go to their new homes from tomorrow. They are now very alike in size & colour & all have similar characters, very outgoing & love to have visitors. Once again Polly has been a brilliant Mum & still wants to visit them a couple of times a day. She now goes for a short walk with Jason & is a very good role model for him .
9th September
The puppies have all gone to their new homes & have settled in well.
They have been a lovely litter, very even with beautiful heads & good bone.
Mike & I will now have a well deserved rest for the next couple of years when we hope Polly will have hers (& our) final litter.
