Bluemuffet

This is Phoebe's first litter and what an amazing achievement for her. She had a total of 11 pups. six girls and 5 boys. We have blue roan and orange roan in the litter. Unfortunately her milk didn't come in straight away and the litter had to be hand reared round the clock by me. Phoebe gave the pups great attention and was a natural mother. We did lose 4 pups after a week due to an infection they acquired and that was a traumatic experience. The other pups were put on antibiotics as a precautionary measure and are now thriving well. We have 2 orange roan boys and 2 blue roan boys and 1 orange roan girl and 2 blue roan girls.
No pups from this litter will be affected by prcd-PRA or FN due to the OptiGen testing and status' of the parents.
