Pedigree KC Registered Weimaraner Puppies in Kent

GHOSTWATCH WORKING WEIMARANERS

This is Tori's first litter and she gave birth to 3 puppies on 20th April. The sire is Zeus, Ivymoor Solid Gold CD.ex, UD.ex. He is from the successful Ivymoor working trials line and Tori is from the Morganna Kennel which is recognized for its success in field trials and for its ability to produce sound working dogs. The primary purpose of this litter is so that we can keep a puppy for ourselves to continue our working line

We have owned and worked weimaraners for over 11 years and to date have owned 4. We currently have 3 - Taz, Bates and Tori. Both Taz and Bates have worked in their earlier years. As they are now nearly 11 and 10 respectively, they have retired from full shoot days, but still enjoy working the hedgerows.

Tori is 3. She started working at 9 months of age due to her advanced natural ability and willingness to work. To date she has had 3 exceptional shooting seasons. She works 2 days a week during the shooting season on 2 local pheasant and partridge shoots. Out of season she goes rough shooting on a weekly basis. She has a superb nose and excellent hunt, point and retrieve ability. She has been hip scored and has a perfect score of 0:0.

Zeus (Ivymoor Solid Gold C.D.ex, U.D.ex) is bred and worked by Sharon Carter and is from a long line of successful working trial dogs. Up to the age of 12 months, Zeus was shown at Open and Championship shows. He was consistently placed at every show, qualifying for crufts in 2006 & 2007. In 2007, Zeus commenced his working trials career. Within a year he has already achieved his C.D.ex and U.D.ex. He is now working at W.D open trials. His hip score is 7:7.

Under the new welfare act we are permitted to have our puppies legally docked for working purposes. The puppies will also have their dew claws removed, be microchipped and have the inside of their ear tattooed for ID and anti-theft purposes. They will also come with 6 weeks insurance, KC registration, 5 generation pedigree and on going support and guidance.

Puppies from this litter are suitable for working and for companionship. Unfortunately, under the new docking legislation, you will not be pernitted to show them at events where members of the public are admitted on payment of a fee ( please see the Kennel Club website for further information)

Prospective owners will need to have an understanding of the breed and its needs and be able to make a time commitment to training a puppy
