Please look at our blog, on our new website, which shows how Tyler and her puppies are progressing.

Tyler has just been mated to Ollie, Katelands Caisteal A'Torr. This is a repeat mating that we have done before, and the last litter from Tyler, which means this is extra special.

Tyler is a very stunning Black and White ticked bitch, and has competed and been placed in KC Gundog Working Tests and Field Trials. She has just finished 3 successful seasons as both picking up and beating dog on the shoot, is steady to the gun and retrieves game unmarked from all ground cover and water.

She was awarded her Kennel Club Gundog Working Certificate at the KC GWT at Chatsworth House, May 2012, and has been graded at Spring Pointing Tests.

Ollie is a striking Flashy Liver and White upstanding dog, with a strong desire to please. He has now had 2 seasons on our shoot, and takes all the noise and excitement in his stride, being totally gunshot proof, eager to please and responding well to commands and directions.

Both Tyler and Ollie are our much loved family pets, and their puppies will not only make ideal pets as well, but will lend themselves to whatever you want to do with them, whether being a working gundog, an agility dog, or taking part in obedience classes.

The grandfather of this litter is:-
Our own Show Champion Isara Kurzhaar Innkeeper at Katelands ShCM, -
A Crufts Winner who is behind many successful Championship show / Crufts winning and Gundog Working Test / Field Trial winners. His hip score is 12. He has a clear eye certificate.
His pedigree includes famous Isara winners such as Sh Ch Isara Kurzhaar Bootlegger, Stormridge, Midlander and Inchmarlo Show Champions.
He was part of the GSP team that won the CRUFTS
Top Breeders Stakes team in 2009.

The Grandmother is our own Eshaldwell New Lexington at Katelands - Lola. Lola has Heathermark, Pottsiepen and the famous Birkenwald Kennel in her pedigree, and has an impressive 35 Field Trial Champions in her recent 6 generation pedigree. She has a Hip score of 12 and a clear eye certificate.

We have personally won top honours at Crufts, Championship and Open shows, and trained Working Trial, Obedience and Gundog Working Test winners.
I have owned, bred, shown and judged these dogs and my other HPR's for over 24 years.
I have a wealth of knowledge to help you get the best from your puppy.

The puppies will be LEGALLY DOCKED, DEW CLAWS REMOVED & MICRO-CHIPPED. They will be reared in the house with the utmost care, - not in outside kennels.

They will be Kennel Club registered, come with all docking/micro-chip paperwork, and 4 weeks free KC insurance. They will have a full 5 generation pedigree, be wormed 3 times at least, and be well socialised.

They will come with a puppy pack (food, blanket from mum etc ), and a booklet that I have written re feeding, basic training ,lead walking, commands and recalling your puppy, house / crate training, worming, socialisation, and how to care for your puppy into adulthood.

They will also come with a contract endorsed by the Kennel Club, and will be vet checked before they leave me.

I am always available for help and advice regarding any pup that I have bred.
These dogs, although they are fantastic pets, do retain a hunting instinct.
They do require basic training and socialisation. They do want to be with people and are not a dog to leave at home / in a kennel alone all day. They do need training, mental stimulation and a lot of exercise.

Please note that prospective homes will be vetted, and I will not sell puppies to households where everyone works full time. Preference will be given to people who have experience of GSP's or the HPR gundog group in general.

I am always at the end of the phone to answer any queries / questions that you may have regarding your puppy, and that is for the lifetime of your dog.

I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder, which means I have adhered to the KC's guidelines as to health testing and how I look after and bring up my puppies, and my after sales help to my puppies new owners.
I have also had a successful home
inspection carried out by Kennel Club Assessors.
