One absolutely gorgeous 9 week old male puppy available, due to a puppy owner changing their mind.

From a litter of 7 puppies this lad deserves the very best of forever homes.

Both have good/low hip scores

Our dogs live in our home, alongside ourselves. They share every part of our lives. This litter will be no exception and will be born and reared in the hub of the home, inside with the utmost care and attention.

All puppies will leave here Kennel Club Registered, microchipped, wormed, with 4 weeks free insurance, a good supply of food plus vouchers for more, an extensive puppy pack (including copies of parents’ health certificates, lots of photos and information on rearing a puppy), a contract and most importantly lifetime breeder support. No question is too trivial to ask, I’m always at the end of the phone/e-mail.

From the puppys’ birth right through to them leaving us I take lots of photos for puppy owners, sending out a weekly e-newsletter on their progress (including photos).

Morgan ‘Ordett Mai Tai By Lignum’ is the daughter of our Murdock ‘Sh Ch Laurelhach Just Jitterbug JW’ out of Sh Ch Ordett Strathisla JW. Murdock lives with us also and he is a carefree and trouble free boy, a complete joy to live with and is super friendly. Morgan is similar to her father in many ways, not least her looks, although obviously far more feminine! Morgan has only been shown very lightly to date but has done very well throughout, gaining her stud book number and thus lifetime qualification for Crufts. All of this information you can find on our website or on our Champdogs page, along with her pedigree and show results.

Morgan’s first litter produced some fabulous results and offspring that we’re really very proud of. Both her daughter Macassar ‘Lignum Miss Fabbri JW’, who lives here with us, and her brother Edison, ‘Lignum Master Marlin at Keaswood JW’ won their Junior Warrants. Macassar also winning a Reserve Challenge Certificate at the tender age of 16 months old. Macassar and her sister Ziva ‘Lignum Miss Mossberg for Balnakeil’ are thoroughly enjoying and progressing well with their field trial training, Ziva having taken part in her first field trial recently. Morgan’s other progeny from her first litter are all members of wonderful families who keep me up to date with their antics and make me very proud indeed. We’re hopeful that her next litter will make us and their owners just as proud in many ways. Feel free to visit my website where you’ll find lots more information and photos

We have put a huge amount of time, planning and thought into the dog we have chosen for the sire of this litter, ensuring all relevant health tests have been carried out, and are satisfactory, but also that temperament and type is good. So, a not so short journey to Scotland to visit Rhona Frew’s lovely boy ‘Jet’ Dunfionn Portsoy was in order. You can read more about Rhona and Jet by visiting her website Jet is a wonderful and very handsome boy with a temperament to die for. He’s a very true to type Gordon and we believe that the lines of Morgan and Jet tie in well but with the benefit of bringing something new to the table also.

We are members of the British Gordon Setter Club and the Gordon Setter Association.

We’d be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about this litter.

A few words from a couple of owners from Morgan’s first litter below:

‘In terms of our experience with you, without wanting to sound sycophantic, it was truly a great experience.
From the moment you picked us as prospective parents you were informative and approachable, and the whole choosing Willow experience was unhurried and very welcoming.
The lovely newsletters about the growing pups were delightful and we have kept them to treasure.
Your puppy pack is second to none-our very experienced and lovely vet says it is the best he has ever seen, and I agree and as far as I am concerned there is nothing I would add/ change…
You have always been there for me with helpful advice- I certainly did not feel abandoned with a new pup, and still feel that I could contact you with any concerns I may have……..
I would be happy at any time to give you a resounding endorsement as we believe we could not have found a better situation in which to adopt our dog.
It goes without saying that we are excited for your new litter and believe that you will have delighted owners, just like us.
Please let us know how things go, though I do log in to your website to catch up on news of all the Lignums.’

‘Without question the advice and support we received from you and Guy was 1st class. The guidance you gave in helping us choose the boy best suited to the show ring was invaluable. The results 18 months down the line speak for themselves. As you are well aware, Edison now has Junior Warrant which I know you are extremely proud of. For Macassar to gain hers too speaks volumes for the pair of them…
Even as experienced owners we found your puppy pack to be comprehensive and very informative. We still refer back to it now…
With regard to ongoing support, this too has been fantastic. If ever we have a question about any of our dogs you are always our 1st port of call. You always offer your vast experience without a passing thought. We truly value this support and are extremely grateful for the guidance you give us. To sum up, our experience of buying a puppy from Lignum Gordons has been a truly wonderful experience. There is nothing that we could suggest you improve. If we could, we would!! The passion you both have for your dogs is evident for everyone to see. The welfare of your dogs, the Shotgun litter, and obviously the forthcoming litter are your overriding priority. Anyone accepted into the Lignum family are in the safest of hands. We are proud to be members and prouder still to count you both as the dearest of friends. We would be more than willing to give a verbal recommendation should any prospective owners wish to have an informal chat…
