This is Alia's second litter. She is now 6 years old and was bred by ourselves. She is a medium sized bitch of pale grey colour. She was shown as a youngster and won the Bitch Puppy Stakes at the Paignton Championship Show under Liz Cartledge, from an entry of 60. She is gundog trained and probably has the best nose of all of our dogs. She is worked on our own rough shoot and is our resident rat catcher. She is an incredibly friendly girl who simply adores people.

Logan is owned by Lynne Danneau. We chose Logan to be the sire of this litter for a variety of reasons. Firstly, he is a super, healthy dog with a great temperament, he comes from show and working lines and complements Alia well. He has been successful in the ring and his wins include 11 BIS at Open Show level before the age of 3, 14 CCs, 27 Reserve CCs, BIS at The Weimaraner Championship Show May 2006, Best of Breed at Crufts 2009 and topped off by a thrilling 2nd in the Gundog Group at Crufts 2009.

Living with us at the moment are 6 dogs, the oldest being 14. Alia comes from a line of healthy, long lived dogs. Alia's mother is approaching 10, her father (Risinglark Illusion) and her grand mother (Radmillane Royal Affair) and her gt grand mother (Radmillane Fantasia) all reached 13 years of age. Alia is a fit, healthy dog whose only veterinary treatment to date has been the removal of a broken canine tooth. We kept a boy from her first litter, Leto who is shown and worked. Last year he won a Novice Gundog Working Test and recent gained his studbook number by being awarded a CoM at a Novice Stake field trial.

For us the most important aspect of having a litter is finding the right puppy owners. We are never in a rush to sell our pups, having the space to run them on for as long as it takes. We are intending to either keep a puppy ourselves or keep one in partnership with someone who wants to show.

Having been a member of the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain since 1983, we follow the Club's strict code of conduct. More can be found about the Club's code of conduct and criteria when buying a pup on the Club's website (
We include one year's membership of the WCGB in our puppy pack. In addition, to support the invaluable work done by the Club's rescue service, we donate 50 for each pup that we sell.

Training a Weimaraner is vitally important and a lack of training is often the cause of an owner wanting to rehome their dog. Therefore we strongly recommend that the new owners take their pup to training classes, either puppy, obedience, ringcraft, or local gundog classes. In recognition of this commitment once the pup has completed a puppy training course, or has attended at least six gundog or obedience classes, we refund 50 to cover the costs of the classes (subject to a signed letter from the trainer).

The puppies will be regularly wormed, and come with diet sheet, worming details, 4 weeks free insurance from Petplan, 5 generation pedigree and guidance pack. The registration document will be endorsed so that any progeny from the dog will not be eligible for KC registration. However, we can lift the endorsement in the future if an owner wants to breed from their dog and has consulted us regarding the mating.

We like our puppy owners to keep in touch, let us know how they are getting on and send us photos. Our 'support line' is always available, whatever the age of the dog.

If you are interested in one of our pups please call and have a chat or drop us an email. Equally we are happy to put you in touch with somebody who has had a puppy from one of our previous litters.
