KC, full vaccination, tattoo, micro-chip & insurance documentation
A folder with verity of booklets (preventing dominance, etc.)
Royal Canin Maxi baby dog
A blanket to remind him of home
A toy
A puppy lead & collar

He:

Has been raised indoors
He was weaned onto scrambled free range eggs, goat's milk, Probiotic Goats Milk Yoghurt, Organic Honey, Organic Heinz Baby Rice, Welpi Dog Milk Substitute, Pedigree Professional Puppy Porridge, Aberdeen Angus Beef, Premium Lamb, Fresh Fish Slowly Fried In A Tiny Bit Of Organic Butter.
This was transferred to Royal Canin Maxi baby & Pedigree Nature's best tinned meat
We gave this alongside a verity of human foods
During his developmental stages we exposed him to a wide verity of smells, tastes, sights, vibrations, sounds, surfaces, etc.

He has gone to / seen:

A busy market town on market day
A bus & train station
KC good citizen puppy foundation classes
A Championship breed show
A working farm
Sheep / Horses / Hens / Cows / Hens / Turkeys / Pheasants / Deer / Rabbits (even a hare sits within 50 feet of his puppy pen)
Guns being shot (not by us, but by people whom own the field that is within a distance of a 100 meters or so of the puppy pen)

We have cows & sheep & deer (wild) & pheasants (wild) rabbits (wild) & a hare & hens & turkeys (free ranging) in the field in front of his puppy pen, and we have horses in a field next to where he is walked. Our garden even attracts the badgers & fox late as night, as well as squirrels (etc.) & so he sees a wide verity of wildlife on a daily basis.

We put in additional time & expenses into our puppies not only hopefully for their & their owners benefit, but because research has shown that a puppy’s temperament & training ability is NOT solely dependent upon its genetics alone.

He:

Is VERY people focused (loves being cuddled)
He recovers quickly
Shows no aggression when being handled or around his food bowl
He learns far faster than an average top pedigree show line or pet bred GSD
Learns new commands super fast & he adores being trained so much that as tempting as it is to keep on continuing you have to be firm with yourself in terms of ending training sessions.

Within 1 repetition he worked out to remain in a sit when I took 2 steps away & then returned to his side before keeping him in a sit for a further 5 seconds
The day after this he did his sit stay training session after following stand stay training, and his sit stays went up to 15 seconds at 2 feet followed by a further 5 seconds in which I returned to his side whilst he maintained the position until I released him (a 20 second sit stay in total).
On the 31st March I rewarded him a couple of times for standing still, & on the 1st April I worked at stand stay training. On a variable reward scheme he quickly got to a 15 second STAND stay at 2 feet (he was commanded stand & then I moved away from him) combined with a further 5 seconds which I used to move back to his side whilst he maintained the position until I released him totalling a 20 second STAND STAY in his 1st training session!!! He could have gone further, but I did not want to push him any more than this.
On the 1st April he also learned to touch a touch stick = a couple of seconds to bite it twice, then nudged it twice, before taking up to 4 steps to touch it either side including jumping up for it (once again this was super fast, as he learnt to touch an object within seconds!!!).
In his first KC puppy good citizen class he completed several 25 second sit stays in which he was 5 meters from the handler despite never being trained at this distance before let alone in the presence of his sister who was playing only 3/4 a meter away to the left of him. He also showed no fear or dog aggression & all in all was very confident combined with just wishing to work for his food.

*** 25th March update ***

Despite a lot of interest from some very successful homes we were originally going to retain the only male, but an active police dog handling home that we knew persuaded us to let him go into co-ownership which enabled us to retain the whole litter (it was a small litter & he was the only male) only for circumstances to affect this home. We had already fallen in love with this male's sisters, and as we do not wish to keep the whole litter we are looking for a new home for him.

The lines speak for themselves & if circumstances had not changed by now he would have either been our treasured dog or in the hands of a successful competitor.

But this pup is only available to an active home that has EXPERIENCE with competing in either obedience, working trials, SCH, agility, as he could be too much of a handful to go anywhere other than a home with experience with working lines / SUCCESSFULLY working a GSD.

Although mum had 8 pups in her last litter she only had 4 this time. But what they will lack in quantity they will more than make up for in terms of quality.

We are unable to include the relatives working awards in the below pedigree due to the set up of the website. Therefore if you are interested in obtaining more information about the awards of the relatives within the pup’s pedigree then please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Please also note that A stamp hips are the highest award that can be given to a dog based on this European system (in the UK we use the BVA system).

Dad’s father resides in Belgium, his mother is a Belgium import who is behind a lot of successful working dogs, mum’s dad was an import from the Netherlands (Tiekerhook) who only had a few litters prior to being no longer available in the UK, and her mother has been exported to America following her litter brother winning the USA SCH nationals.

In 4 generations of the pup’s pedigree not 1 dog appears more than once, & in the 5th generation only 1 dog appears more than once (the world famous Troll von der bösen Nachbarschaft).

This & the Grandparents (etc.) origins all help towards genetic diversity both within the puppy & a litter in the UK. This is something that we took into account alongside hip scores, temperament, working potential, & confirmation when planning this litter.

We provide extensive verbal & written support to further back up maximising socialisation, training (including building up drives & focus, etc.), & preventing behavioural problems such as noise & aggression & fear, etc. As well as drawing upon some of the knowledge that I achieved within my Animal Science Degree this support is based upon the teachings of some of the leading behaviourist & trainers within this country & America.

We love our puppies very much, & as nice as it is to see their virtues being proven at the end of the day we want all of them to be TREASURED MEMBERS OF SOMEONE'S FAMILY.
