UK Bullmastiff Rescue & Adoption had its first funday 4 years ago, originally a one off fundraiser to help raise the money for a dog named Bruiser who came into rescue with a serious eye condition after being handed into his local dog pound. Thanks to the success of that day Bruiser received his treatment and went on to live a normal healthy life. Now the funday is held annually and proceeds continue to help Bullmastiffs in need. One such example was a puppy who had a life threatening heart condition, many thought the plight of this puppy was in vain, but after two major operations which cost rescue just over three and half thousand pounds ĎAngelí is fit and well and living a happy life in her home with two other bullmastiffs as her friends. Without the support of the public, dogs dogs like Angel would not stand a chance.

This is our 4th funday and we hope to make it bigger and better than ever. There are 12 fun classes open to all breeds with rosettes for 1-6th placings. Classes include fancy dress, best rescue, best trick and dog and owner look a like class. Aside from the dog show there will be quality home cooked food, drinks (a licenced bar), tombola, raffle, bric a brac and car boot stands. Of course there is also a bouncy castle for the children.

Itís great to have so many large breed dogs at a family event where everyone can see what wonderul family companions they can be.

Lodge Farm also has a Canine Hydrtherapy Pool and for the funday they are offering discounted swims for Charity, anyone wishing to book their dog in for a swim (or to book a car boot pitch) can ring on 01908 583614
