EBONY was our first GSD and we took her in as she was subject to a marriage split and needed a home. She settled with us very quickly and we began attending Companion Dog shows where her wins included BEST IN SHOW. I then traced her back to Norwulf and took the opportunity of working at the kennels.

We had many experiences and enjoyed practicing handling techniques etc at Open Show level. She excelled herself with age and went on to gain over 20 BEST VETERAN in SHOWS competing with large entries in her classes and often up against Champions of other breeds. Her last show attendandce was her only Champ. Show and at 10 years of age was 1st in Veteran Bitch at the GSD Club of UK Breed Champ. Show (Nov03).

Ebony will always be very special to us as she has played the most important role of introducing me to this nobel breed. She was a fantastic foundation bitch for me as far as showing was concerned, and was always a very loal member of our family.

JEAN LANNING - Veteran (10) 1st - "Out of the top drawer, must have been unlucky not to have gained her title, at 7 years looks half her age, lovely pattern of the breed". - pulled out in the last 5 for Best In Show.

DON MILLER - Veteran (11) 1st - "Very typical 8 1/2 years GSD, very feminine with a lovely head and alert expression, very shapely with a good firm topline. Good angulation, in beautiful condition, moved with drive and lovely flowing gait".

MIKE STOCKMAN - Veteran (20) 1st - "An animal of 9 years with the movement of a bitch half her age. Superbly handled to get the best out of her. Super balance of head, neck and shoulders. Unexaggerated in stance and angulation".
