Tara is, like any real Giant should be, a very versatile girl, she has turned her paw to agility and obedience, tricks and even used to train with a display team where she would go through the fire jumps! However, most of Tara's time has been taken up in the shows. Since turning 7 Tara has been Best Veteran in Show on multiple occasions and was 4th in the Veteran Group at Darlington Championship Show, the following year she WON the veteran GROUP at Darlington championship show - the first Giant Schnauzer to have done this!!

At 10 years old she is still shocking the judges that she is that old as she bounces around the ring and is still so full of energy and fun.

Tara also has 4 Reserve Challenge Certificates, one being won at 9 years old and the latest being won at 10 years old!!

She has qualified for Schnauzer Of The Year 2009 and 2010

Passed her GOLD KC Good Citizen Scheme Test


Taras latest sucess came at Clitheroe show where she gained the final points for her Show Certificate of Merit title and rounded off the day with winning the working group and Best Veteran In Show!!


Best of all, she is a pleasure to live with and my dog in a million.

Tara finally retired from the show ring in 2010 after winning Best Veteran in Breed at the Northern Schnauzer Club champ show. She now spends her time enjoying walks on the beach/sand dunes and time on the sofa with the Minis.
