Gartraith Gentian Image at Gentiana - Veteran Dog of the Year 2011.We are so proud of our lovely Genny who will be 8 years old in March. She qualified for Veteran Dog of the Year in the summer of 2011.On 3rd January 2012 she competed against all winners to win the title for the next 12 months. She is a great retriever: she manages to retrieve everybody who comes to the house, by "bringing" them in either by the wrist or arm. Her day is often spent stealing anything she can find and bringing it to you wagging her tail "19 to the dozen." One of her favourite occupations is to bring plant pots into the house and empty them on the carpet !
Sh Ch Jobeka Jasper of Nortonwood appears in the 5th generation pedigree of the Sire (Sh Ch Baricia Bobby Dazzler JW).
Genny now only shows from time to time but she still enjoys it very much. All details of Genny's show results can be viewed on our website.

Over the past 3 years she has been visiting a local Nursing Home and the Residents smile when Genny appears. She is so patient with them, and they look forward to seeing her on the next visit.
