Balletcor American Patrol is the kennels first attempt at breeding a Degenerative Myelopathy or DM clear Pembroke Corgi.

We deliberately bred Balletcors Wonderous Collaboration in 2014 in America with a long term plan to breed the healthiest dogs possible.

Both parents are vWD clear so that means all pups are clear.

This first litter of Zacs breeding has been genetically tested and AMY is just one of our first clear puppies. Amy has now been tested for coat length and has been adjudged Clear. Our next aim with all our dogs is to test hips and eyes.

We can also say here that Zac was tested for coat length - fluff and he is is genetically Clear. So we know he cannot throw a fluffy puppy.

Amy is growing into a beautiful corgi with comments coming from all quarters.

Life has been a game so far playing with her sibling and kennel mates. She took her first Best Puppy in Breed at Leominster picking up group 2 in a field of 4. At the Marlborough show at just seven months she again won Best Puppy in breed but going one better this time taking Group One in a field of nine. I had to take very large paces very quickly to really show and she just walk it, if I could have only been watching.

I am hoping this little girl follows in the footsteps of her GGrandfather Foxlor Schaferhaus Sammy Sosa Romx who's walking is legendary.

Amy sailed with me and completed at the Monkstown All Breed Championship show held at the IKC arena in Dublin. Ten Pem corgis booked in. Here she took the Junior class with and excellent and took the reserve Green Star behind Auntie Zoe who then beat Merlyn for BoB.

In August Amy won five more Junior classes whilst on the Munster run and at the Killarney show whilst under judge Dr M Alves "Brazil" became an Irish Junior Champion. This was confirmed recently by the IKC .

On September 10th at the Kington Agricultural show held in Herefordshire Amy was part of our Balletcor team and won the Junior class as a puppy and then went on to take Pastoral Puppy Group 1 under Best in Show judge Mr Mather.

Amy has just proved to be clear for EIC
