Siatham Mayblossom of Riverscharm - Daisy Mae - Daisy

In July 2011 this lovely little lady came bowling into our lives, turned it upside down, and pulled us all along in her exuberance. You can't fail but be happy when you're around Daisy, she's a breath of fresh air, a ray of sun shine! She is full of joy, loves life and everyone and every thing in it.

She too was the perfect puppy, so easy to train, never an accident in the house, nor a peep out of her at night. From the moment Daisy arrived Oscar took to her, and she to him. They became 'soul mates', and are often found 'wrapped' around each other. She is also a typical Golden, and is amazingly sociable with all people and other dogs. She does however have one special friend, and rival for her affections in VAMP Allspice -Vellyn, my brothers working Golden who is the same age!

Daisy loves to be out and about, and her walks are the high light of her day. Although we haven't done any formal 'Gundog' training with her, she has an excellent nose, and her work to the whistle is fantastic. She is a highly intellegent young lady who likes to be busy, and picks things up easily, some times too easily! Such as how to open the washing machine and take out the washing, and how to open doors! Between her and Oscar, who can open stair gates, it can be fun! She likes to 'help' in other ways too, and is very good at using her paws and nose to un-roll socks that have been paired up. She will bring them to me, wagging her tail, so pleased with herself for helping, after all how can you put your feet in socks that are rolled up in a ball!

Daisy has also been known to be a bit of a thief! The two birthday cakes that had rather large chunks missing from them recently are testament to that. Never mind, a little patching up and I don't think any one noticed........ Sometimes I feel her and Oscar have to work as a team, as she needs his superior size to reach things just a little too far back for her - Oh well, another 'Golden' virtue I suppose, Team Work!

Daisy too has the typical gentle nature of a true Golden. This is exhibited so perfectly when someone in the family is feeling under the weather. She will sit for hours at their side, it's lovely to see.

Daisy has done well at the shows she has been entered in. Amongst others she gained a lovely 2nd at Eastern Counties GRC open show. In his critique judge John Kuijpers (Fiveshill) said there was 'lots to like about her'. She also achieved a 2nd in Post Grad at The WKC Championship show qualifying her for Crufts 2014.

Siatham Mayblossom of Riverscharm has a current Eye Certificate and has Hip and Elbow Scores bellow the Breed Average.
