Minty is a very outgoing character and very full of his own self importance - very much the Simon Cowell of our show team! Minty was Top Basset Hound in the UK in 2009,2008,2004 and runner up in 2005 behind his kennelmate, Ch. Dereheath Marcus Aurelius. Minty has won 3 Hound Groups at Championship Shows.

Minty now has a total of 32CCs (21 with BOB) and 20RCCs(many of these 2nd only to our own Ch. Dereheath Marcus Aurelius - Top Dog in Breed 2005) Minty is now 8 years old but is still as sound and active as he was as a youngster and very much "Fit for Purpose".
His most recent wins in 2010 include BOB at Border Union under judge Arthur Salusbury and shortlisted in the group under judge, Frank Kane, and Veteran Hound Group winner at Darlington under judge, Brenda Banbury. Only shown once so far this year at Crufts where we were thrilled to win the Reserve CC with Minty at over 8 years old.
