Douglas is a real extrovert, a party animal. His offspring include Champion Dereheath Pedridot at Dearduenna, BEST OF BREED CRUFTS 2008 , Best Veteran Dog Crufts 2009 owned and shown by Di Melbourne and Paul Isted & Ch. Durins Flame of the West

When almost a veteran in 2007 Douglas won the Champion Stakes class at the Bakewell Show and BOB at Driffield Ch. Show and Third in the Hound Group and also Best in Show at the Basset Hound Club of Wales.

Although now a veteran Douglas continues to sire quality hounds. His daughter, Malrich Gucci was BPIB at Crufts 2009 and her brother, Malrich Diesel at Dereheath was BPD at the Midland Open Show.
