Fern was born on 2nd September 2002 (Gypsy's daughter).

She is a very loving dog with immense character who loves everyone.

Fern has been placed at Championship and Open Shows and was judged Best Black Tri Dog/Bitch at the 2004 ASCUK Open show.

Before she was 12 months old she gained her Kennel Club Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen Awards.

Fern took to her Working Trials training like an Aussie to water, being keen and quick to learn. She regularly competed at Trials & has qualified CD Open in First place, CDex in Second place, UD Open in First place and UDex and also two WD Opens in Second and Fourth place. She now has three WDex qualifications, the second of these she was awarded First place. The next day she gained her first TD Open qualification being placed Third.

Fern has now retired from Working Trials & has turned her paw to the Obedience Ring where on her first weekend out she came 3rd in Pre-Beginners & 4th in Beginners. The following day she won the Pre-Beginners class.

At an Inter-club competition on 22nd March 2009 between the Exeter, Plymouth & Goonhavern clubs, Fern won the Beginners class.

Fern then went on to win the Beginner's class at the Goonhavern Canine Training Club's Open Obedience Show on 19th April where she also came 7th in Novice. She went on to win her second Beginner's class at the Plymouth DTC Open Obedience Show on 10th May 2009.

We are proud to say that Fern was chosen to work in Novice as part of the Western Team in the Inter Regional Obedience Competition at Crufts 2010.

Fern gained 2nd place in Novice at the Plymouth DTC Open Obedience Show on 9th May 2010. 2nd place in Novice at Exeter DTC Open Ob. Show Day 1 (29th May), 5th place in Novice on Day 2. She then followed this with a 2nd in Novice at Petersfield & DDTS Championship Ob. Show on 6th June and 2nd place at Cwmbran & DDTC Championship Obedience Show on 12th June, 2nd place at GSD Club of Devon on 19th June and 2nd place at Burnham On Sea on 24th July.

Fern has gained enough points to give her the letters Nov. Ex after her Working Trials qualifications and is now working Class 'A'where she gained 3rd place at Bath on 8th August, 4th place on 19th September at Birmingham GSD Association, 6th place at BAGSD, Birmingham on 26th September and 2nd place on 2nd October at Plymouth. On 8th May 2011 she came 6th in 'A' at Plymouth and on 31st July was placed 5th at Burnham On Sea.
