The judges at the Open Qualifying Cocker Spaniel Stake
at Brockett Park Monday 13th December 2010 said of Ken
'I felt privileged to watch the dogs in this spectacular scenery and
when Chris Linney’s Mallowdale Ken of Winhocklin came into line
its’ pace and game finding truly impressed. When a wing tipped
cock glided 100 yards down the wood and then ran I knew it would
take a special dog to take the retrieve and it did! It was without
doubt the best spaniel retrieve I have seen and a credit to the
dog.'
