Ziya is home bred, and lives here with us, along with his Grandma, Auntie, Mother and litter sister and half litter sister. He is a medium sized Weimaraner dog who has an impeccable temperament to match. He is a very loyal, docile and friendly dog.

He has good conformation and movement and has good bone structure. He also has a good hip score of 6:4 which is below average for the breed.

He is now maturing nicely at 5 years of age and has been shown for the past 2 years and has regularly been placed at Champ shows.

In 2010 at Birmingham Gun Dog and Terrier open show, he got Best Puppy in Breed, Gun Dog Puppy Group 1 and went on to get Reserve Best Puppy in Show, under judge Doreen Smillie.

At Crufts in 2011 under breed specialist Judge Val O’Keefe, we were pleased when he was placed 3rd in Puppy Dog out of a class of 7 entries. This qualified him for Crufts 2012.

At Crufts 2012, he won his Yearling Dog class, out of a class of 9 entries, under Gun Dog specialist Judge Mrs Grace Brown (Rangatira). We were thrilled to bits and he is now qualified for Crufts 2013. His critique reads :

Matthews Silvermews Shiro upstanding dog wth excellent head and masculine expression, correct ears and good fold. Muzzle deep, strong neck and front ino good chest which is well let down to elbow. Ribs well sprung and nice angulated rear. Level topline on the move.

At Crufts 2013 Ziya gained another first in his Post Graduate dog class, under Breed Specialist Russell Clarke (Coastedge).

His critique for this year reads:

Matthews Silvermews Shiro, beautifully presented in first class order, pleasing outline, clean well constructed neck and shoulders, moved well.

Recently at Boston Champ Show, Ziya successfully gained a Reserve Challenge Certificate, which qualifies him for Crufts for life, and gains him his stud book number.

He is a proven stud dog and available to bitches over the age of 2 who are in good health and have a superb temperament. They must also have a good hip score for the breed.
