Blu is a fantastic member of our family. He has a great temperament and has been brought up with our young children and other Weimaraners. He is a total gentleman and a very loyal friend.

Blu has been consistently placed at Open and Championship level since he was 7 months old including many Best of Breeds at Open Shows and First places at Championship Shows. He is only shown lightly these days as he prefers to be working in the fields.

Blu started Gundog training at 13months old and he has never looked back! He has progressed at a fantastic rate and shows a real natural ability in his work. He is a keen hunter and retriever.

Blu has passed both parts of the Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate on Dummies and on Game. He is also worked on a local shoot where he is a valuable member of the beating and picking up team. Blu received the Guns Award at his first ever Novice Field Trial on Saturday 2nd October 2010.

Blu has been tested for the Long Haired gene and is confirmed as NOT A CARRIER. He has a clear eye examination and a hip score of 6:6.
