Flame is our first homebred puppy & should start her show career soon.
Flame has now passed her KC Good Citizen Bronze award at just 7 months
Flame is now being placed consistantly in Av & Breed classes at Open & Championship Shows. She has now qualified for Crufts 2005.
13/05/2005 Flame has now gained her Silver KCGC Award.
26/06/2005: Today was Flame's 1st Agility show at Therapaws. She had a good day achieving a clear round in Helter skelter with an overall 6th place out of 39. We are so pleased with her as she has really taken to it.
She has now started Gundog training & is looking promising ( just got to stop running in!!)
On 30th October 2005 Flame participated in the SGRS Agility Show Having 2 clear rounds out of 3.
4th June 2006. Flame had her 1st big obedience show today & excelled herself by dropping only 4 1/4 points.

At the United Retriever Club Open Show Flame got BOB. She looked really lovely today with her coat at its best.

Today Flame completed her Show Gundog Working Certificate in fine style, retrieving 2 pheasants & waiting patiently in line. She then did the water test & easily retrieved the canvas dummy. We are over the moon as this will mean there will be more classes for her to enter at shows.

Today Flame passed her Good Citizen Gold Award!!
We are over the moon with this award.

Today Flame spent the day on a local shoot. Retrieving about 7 pheasants & thoroughly enjoying herself. Hopefully she will be able to go on more next shooting season.

Today Flame was awarded 4th place at berkshire Downs & Chilterns GRC Pre-beginners Obedience.
9th August
Flame competed in the Billinghurst DTC KCGC pre beginners where she lost 3 points & then in Pre-beginners losing 11 1/2 points. Her obedience has improved greatly which can't be said of her working tests as she has been placed last in both tests entered in so far this year, still at least she is now getting points!!

Flame has started picking up with the Netley Shoot in Surrey. In all she picked 12 birds & thoroughly enjoyed her day out.

Today was Therapaws Agility Clear round day. Although the weather was wet we still had a good time with Flame getting 4 clear rounds in fine style. Unfortunately Jason didn't get any but Flame has donated one of her rosettes to him!

Today Flame took part in the Super Pet Dog event at Queen Elizabeth Country Park , near Petersfield, Hants.
Although it was very hot Flame had a good day completeing all the tests with 38 points out of 40. Two dogs got 40 then came Flame. The event was very well run with wet towels & water bowls for the dogs. Excellent day!!

Today Flame competed in the SGRS Agility day.
She was entered in 2 classes. In her first class she jumped a wrong jump so was eliminated but did jump clear.
her 2nd class was a pairs class with her half-sister Conni (Azteca April Delight) in which she did a clear round so her & Conni were awarded 6th place. It rained for most of the day but nevertheless we had good day.
Flame has been picking up on the 2010/11 shooting season & has thoroughly enjoyed herself.

Today Flame competed in the Therapaws agility show. She gained a 3rd, 4th & 2 clear rounds. She enjoyed herself even though it rained all day!

Flame competed in the Super pet Dogs competition at Butser Hill today she gained 39/40 points only dropping 1 point as she ate the sausage in the recall over food test! But she then went on to win the improvers obedience winning a rosette & bag of dog food. It was very hot but enjoyable.

At the SGRS agility show Flame scored a clear round so won a rosette.
Conni (Azteca April Delight) was awarded a special prize by the judge for Sue's sympathetic handling of her. Well done Flame & Conni
Flame has been enjoying a few days picking up. This may be her last season as she finds it very tiring. However, she still loves her agility & continues to bounce round the courses.
