Chablis or Shabby to her friends, full of puppy mischief, Only lightly shown but qualified first time out and had 3 Very Promising grades in Ireland this year, she was lightly shown due to a shoulder injury, now resolved, and had just started to get back into the rings with some good succeses.
Unfortunatly at 16 months we have had to re-home Shabby to a lovely couple and a 19 month old Newfie...she was pushing her Mum for top dog status and causing friction between them that would not be resolved. The dessision was very very hard but both she and her mum are now happier and it has been the right thing to do. Our dogs live in the house with us and have to get along. I think it is no life to be constantly seperating dogs who do not get along, it caused stress to all parties and though very hard to do it has been for the best all round. We are hopefull that she will now settle into a peacefull life with her new Mum and dad and give them all the love she gave to us.
Update:- 5 weeks into her new life and she is well and truly a part of thier family now.
