While sister Cally ("HaselorHill Calypso") has been off attending her first shows -- and winning a VHC in her first ever class..! -- young Creek has been undergoing gundog-training at the kennels...

Creek chose her career path herself... being the MOST biddable puppy ever and so keen to please..! She's still very young... but already has the sweetest retrieve and can't do enough to please her handler..! (Her tail never stops wagging..!)

Sister Cally is still very-much the youngster (ie wants to bury HER gundog-dummies in the nearest flowerbed (and thinks this 'ere retrieving-lark is all a great game...) but... NOT so Creek...!

She's totally single-minded and business-like and, as soon as a ball/dummy is thrown, thinks getting it back to her handler -- as FAST as her legs can take her -- is her BEST reward ever..!

Creek is a "natural" and simply LOVES to retrieve... She proudly carries everything -- and everything -- back to her trainer... and, when not retriever-training, proudly brings flowerpots... pieces of wood... twigs... stones... (anything remotely "portable") straight back to the hands of her handler...! "fetch & carry" is Creek's favourite game...!

She's really "getting" this retriever training... BUT with bells on..!

Obviously Creek is determined to make her working-mum "Star" (and her owners) proud...!

Creek is a very bright little girl and so wants to please... she's showing lovely potential but we're taking her slow and steady to start...but she's "got the makings" alright...!

NB: Creek's BVA scores and results now back;
0:0 elbows and a pleasing 7:5 for Hips.
