"Brook" was bred, in conjunction with Lynne Minchella of dual-purpose "Abbeystead Kennels" fame and started off gundog training in earnest in 2011.

Brook is proving to be both bright and very biddable and her training has quickly progressed.

Brook, as a puppy, quickly learnt to open the catch of the pen... and if you forgot to double-check it was VERY securely closed... she would wait for you to leave... and then...? happily lead ALL the rest of the gang out to freedom... leading the hunt to come and find YOU...!

Brook's outings in the field will be Winter 2011/12 -- so... it's "fingers crossed" for THIS little Houdini.....!
