"Louise" was imported from Belgium -- from the "Dual's Hope" kennels -- for whom she'd previously had a very successful show career; winning several 1sts at Open levels at Championship shows all over Belgium and Germany.

She was brought to the UK by Lynne Minchella's dual-purpose "Abbeystead" kennels, where she was later seen by us and admired... so we were more than delighted when Lynne finally allowed herself to be persuaded to let us add "Louise" to the gang at HaselorHill Kennels..!

One of Louise's sons "Abbeystead Nimrod" (Hips 2:2 and Elbows: 0) has had multiple wins; both at Open and Championship show levels, qualified for CRUFTS 2011 (now at UnderGrad levels) and is maturing really nicely. He's a very good looking young dog...

Another of her sons "Abbeystead Blenheim" (Ben) was placed 3rd in a very strong class on his very FIRST outing in the show-ring... a feat mirrored by his litter sister "Abbeystead Breeze of Haselorhill" on HER very first show-ring outing too (at the Labrador Retriever Club's championship show.)

Litter brother "Abbeystead Beaufort of Haselorhill" (Boo) qualified for Crufts 2010 as a puppy and came 5th in his class. He then also qualified for CRUFTS 2011 and, in the interim, also obtained his (SGWC) Show Gundog Working Certificate...! Good looks AND smarts too...!

Mum "Louise" has the most wonderful, steady temperament; very biddable and keen to please and was a wonderful addition to our HaselorHill "family"..!

We are not a large commercial kennels and also don't over-use our brood bitches, so Louise has had her puppies now... so it's down to her youngsters to carry on the family name and add to laurels..!
