Jake was lovingly bred by Diana Stevens at Wylanbriar and we are honoured to have such a wonderful boy living with us.

Jake really is a little comedian, he has a super personality and is so keen to please, he is gentle, kind and very affectionate.

He has demonstrated a natural affinity for gundog work, especially retrieving game in the shooting field. In 2009 he was awarded his Show Gundog Working Certificate.

He loves being in the showring and is currently doing well at both Open and Championship show level. He has numerous Best of Breed awards and is seldom unplaced at Championship shows, featuring in the final line-up many times. Jake proved both his show-worthyness and his ability to work at Crufts 2010, where under David Craig he was placed 3rd in the Special Working Labrador class, a moment that I will never forget!
