Freya is our first Malamute and the mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of our other Mals. She is the mother of our 'once-in-a-lifetime-dog' Sherman (CH Tuvaurat Made In America JW ShCM) and through Sherman and her other children has made a huge impact on the breed in the UK.
She was a natural show dog in her day and even as a Veteran she so loved showing she hopped, skipped and jumped her way around the ring. Freya's show career had many, many great achievements, including being only one of a few Mals at the time to go Reserve Best In Show, she was the Malamute Of The Year in 2002, Top Special Beginner in '01 and Top Import numerous years. Freya is now fully retired from the show ring. She was also exceptionally good at obedience, but she just never saw the point in 'the hold' of an object, so we didn't persue an obedience career for her!.
And we firmly believe she is still one of the prettiest and best natured Mals ever!
