The salon offers dog grooming courses for people wanting to train to become a qualified dog groomer. Sue offers great training in a commercial dog grooming salon on the outskirts of Derby, in Stanley Common near Ilkeston. Sue previously trained Students at Derby College Dog Grooming and has years of experience in teaching dog grooming along with 100% success with student’s achievements.
Sue is a fully qualified Lecturer and Assessor holding Qualified Teaching and learning Status. Teaching people to become dog groomers is a real passion of sues and she endeavours to ensure all learning is a great experience.
Teaching groups of learners is great and Sue ensures she has a maximum of 5 learners at a time in the salon so that they get a great learning experience.

Our programme has been specifically developed for people just like you – normal members of the public and professionals who work with dogs day in, and day out.
It covers the emergency situations that animal owners frequently find themselves in and teaches the skills we need to help including:-
Artificial Respiration, CPR, Shock, Burns, Choking and Bleeding
Seminars are delivered by trainers who are fully qualified in Advanced Canine First Aid and there is always at least one live dog in each class for demonstration purposes. Sessions are open to the general public or can be schedule
