We got our first Basset Lily from Len and Ann Williams (Halzephron) in May 2000, before this we owned a miniature smooth and 2 mini Long haired Dachshunds.
We have now come full circle as a Miniature Long haired Dachshund joined our pack in August 2014.
We have so far entered a handful of shows with her and have had some nice placings in Puppy classes.
I have also always loved whippets and wanted one for many years finally that dream came true when Selinko Chardonay at Houndsbay joined us in November 2015.
We are only a small kennel and aim to stay that way, we .... (click to read more)

Bought my first Ridgeback in 1981 while living in South Africa - SHANDY was a wonderful companion. Born in 1991, WHISKY was my African Gentleman & an excellent foundation dog; then I was blessed with a perfect mate in RYE from the JANAK kennel. From our first litter in 1994, BEAUJOLAIS was a great show dog, sire of champions and my soul mate. We have enjoyed much success in the showring; essentially, our dogs are happy pack members who have taught us the importance of leadership & understanding. Thomas started showing Rye @ CRUFTS when he was only 4, but he needed a smaller dog of his own; .... (click to read more)

I have owned and shown whippets for over 30 years and am currently campaigning dogs who carry the very best of the famous "Oakbark" bloodlines.
I don't get to as many shows as I would like, as my horses take up a huge amount of time but I do try to get to a few championship shows each year and am thrilled with the successes my dogs have achieved.
I was a founder member and the first secretary of the South West Whippet Club and am proud of the way the Club has gone from strength to strength.
I judge the breed at open show level.
We are a small kennel specialising in sporting whippets based on old traditional lines of correct size and sturdy conformation.

We have 6 whippets and have only been in the breed since 2011. We only breed a litter when we want one to show ourselves. We qualified our 1st dog for Crufts in 2014 which was one we bred ourselves - Millie (Jazzellie make it my dream) which she did.

I aim to breed a dual purpose whippet of correct whippet type and size, good movement and, above all, a temperament suitable for children and visitors.
See my website www.whisterfieldwhippets.co.uk for more pictures of my whippets.
I have been a member of the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme since 2004.

I am a single lady who has just the one whippet, which will become 2 when I have chosen the puppy from my litter that will stay with me and be shown with her mum. I used to show Great Danes but through ill health have had to have a rethink and whippets are the breed that has taken over. although I also have a spaniel who is just a companion and totally manic. The whippets are the calming element in her life. I hope to be showing my whippets right up throughout the rest of my days. I also have a horse who I ride whenever I can and am in the process of training a Dartmoor pony to drive.
We are KENNEL CLUB ACCREDITED BREEDERS.
My interest in Deerhounds started about 35 years ago and has only grown stronger with the years. I have not bred a great number of litters, but have been lucky enough to have bred a number of Champions. Ch Canerikie Kate perhaps the most well known as she was one of the first Deerhounds ever to go Best in Show at a General Chamionship show. I am Championship Show Judge and thoroughly enjoy judging and I was honoured by the Deerhound Club, by being asked to Judge Bitches at the Club Show April 07. Jeanies first litter of pupies are well and truly .... (click to read more)
