This is a sporting line which has always been bred as closely as possible to the breed standard while maintaining above average performance in the field.
They have been running competitively and shown since 1971, achieving top honours in both fields.
All my whippets are health checked regularly and I think their performance proves they are "fit for function". I like to keep in touch with my puppy clients and expect regular progress reports. Any Moonlake whippet can be returned to me at any stage of its .... (click to read more)
I have had dogs for 50 years, since childhood, and have owned a border collie, GSD, lurchers, shih tzu, miniature pinscher and papillon.
I now own Deerhounds, Whippets, Lurchers and Miniature Poodles. Our dogs live with us in our home as members of our family - we do not have kennels - with our cats and other animals.
I have had success in the showring with our Deerhounds, firstly with Demerlay Dorian Grey at Celticmoon who gained one Challenge Certificate, two Reserve Challenge Certificates and one Reserve Best of Breed at Champion Shows before retiring and more recently with .... (click to read more)

Huntinghill Whippets - A small kennel aiming for health, soundness, construction & good temperament. Pets first, Showdogs second!
We do not breed very many litters and carefully consider our lines before embarking on a mating. It is very important to us to breed with the above aims in mind & only if we want to keep a puppy ourselves.
Potential puppy owners will be asked many questions from us & we expect many questions back. Any puppies sold will be supplied with full documentation ie KC, feeding charts, pedigree & general information and an agreement between both parties that should an .... (click to read more)

Our kennel affix is Lewcher and we have been showing dogs for many years. We started showing our first whippet about 20 years ago. Over those years we have had a total of 7 litters, We lost our Maiden Silkstone bitch, Fern (Silkstone Ocean Sunset) Christmas 2006 at the age of 11. She was a very successful bitch in the show ring winning her stud book number at Crufts at the age of 2 and won reserve top dog of East Anglia at their Supermatch. We kept one of her daughters, Bailey (Lewcher Royal Sunset) and have had a very successful time with her gaining her Junior Warrant award. She has won .... (click to read more)

We are a small show-kennel based in Aberdeeshire. Our dogs live in our home and are very much part of the family. We will only occasionally breed a litter when we want a puppy for ourselves. Our aim is to breed healthy Whippets with a sound temperament whilst keeping conformation & breed type a priority. Our Whippets are, or have been, actively campaigned at Championship Show level. They are pets first and show-dogs second. My introduction into showing and this beautiful breed was Tara - Fire Fashion Dancer (d.o.b. 09/04/2003). I had no idea she was from show lines when I got her as a pet. .... (click to read more)

Lolani is a small kennel in the middle of the east of england. We enjoy nothing more than spending our time with our dogs whether it be at home or days out at shows.
We occasionally have a well bred litter of puppies, but only when we are looking for a new puppy to join our family.
A 5* loving permanent home is a must for any Lolani puppy.
If you wish to be considered for a puppy from our next litter and possibly placed on the waiting list please feel free to email for details, please be prepared to answer lots of questions as puppies will go to approved homes .... (click to read more)
We occasionally have litters, usually when we want to add to our own pack, we have four generations now.
I am a small hobby kennel having had salukis and whippets for many years. All of our dogs are active family members who get to run free daily. Any puppies I have produced are reared in a home environment as one of the family. Our puppies are bred for soundness, sporting ability and are bred to show standard. I am very happy to provide life time support and advice for all puppies, any pictures updates and progress reports are always greatly appreciated.

Our dogs are very much our pets first, they have their own room in our house.
They all enjoy running together every night at the river.
Although not all our dogs have there own pages on this site they are still at home with us and do not get moved on once their show career has finished.
I have had dogs all my life, I started showing the Afghans around the companion shows aged 5. I met the lovely Merlin, Triken Harlequin, at Open Show and immediately fell in love with Whippets after seeing him run. My first whippet was brought for me in 1991. All our homebred .... I have had Whippets since 2000 and bred my first litter in 2003. I currently have three generations from my first Bitch, Misty who sadly is no longer with us.
All my girls have been in the show ring. We all live in Harwich Essex, by the seaside.
Ms Jo White & Mrs F J Ford
The first Beksam puppies were born in the 1960s when my parents, Joy and Arthur Ford bred their first litter of Boston Terriers. In the early 1970s we bought our first Bearded Collie and I went in to partnership with my parents. We bred, showed and loved our Beardies for many years. In fact, in 2004 we lost our last girl after 35 years of happy Beardie ownership.
We bought our first Whippet in 1981 and I was hooked. The Whippets are still my first love. They share our home and hearts with three elderly Miniature Schnauzers (who still act like naughty children).
All our dogs live .... (click to read more)
