I have been involved with Weimaraners since 1987. I have shown many to their Show Champion titles & 3 to their full Champion titles as well as breeding a full champion. I believe that a Weimaraner should be able to do the job they were bred for & I try to adhere to this when breeding.
Throughout the shooting season, the dogs are shot over regularly, being used in a beating line and also as picking up dogs.

When breeding I will dock my puppies tails as long as the law allows me to. Each puppy will have a docking certificate to state they have been legally docked by my vet and also .... (click to read more)

I am only a small breeder of Longhaired Weimaraners- and do so purely for my love of the breed and due to the lovely nature and quality of my dogs. I was brought up with dogs that my parents had and twenty years ago i bought my first long haired weimaraner. took a while to find one but when i did she was a cracker. i joined the weimaraner club and through members there was encouraged to look into breeding as they were impressed with her. her hip scores came back as 2/3 and then searched for a worthy stud dog! it all started there. cassie was from working background - her sire was a falconers .... I have owned Weimaraners since 2000 and can attribute my love of this beautiful breed to my first dog Harvey 19/11/2000 - 18/01/2012. He was my best friend and loyal companion.

My dogs are health tested, have outstanding temperaments and make great companions & members of the family. I am based in rural Essex and we have an idyllic life together surrounded by beautiful countryside. They have been brought up with lots of other dogs, horses, cats and regularly go to work at the vets with me & are well socialised and happy in any situation.

I owned my first weimaraner in 1993, Connie. Connie did go on to get her Stud Book No for showing. Having had her hips scored at 8:7 which was average for the breed then. She was trained as a gundog and was used in the beating line. Then came Claude, my "one in a million" dog. He worked in the beating line to, never false pointing and was a pleasure to own. His Hip Score was 8:8. Then there was Anna, Granddaughter of Connie and Claude. She to, works in the beating line but loves to chase the deer, so it's all very exciting when she's off the lead -working! Her hips are 2:0. She also won her .... (click to read more)

We are now into our 15th year of our involvement with the Weimaraner.

The Weimaraner falls into the gundog subgroup of "dogs which hunt, point and retrieve", otherwise known as the HPR Group.

Accordingly we are of the firm belief that the Weimaraner should be allowed to exercise its natural instincts in the field through work or trials.

I breed only occasionally, when a puppy is desired for myself, and/or when there are genuine enquiries for puppies. In any event I breed with a primary focus on promoting the working characteristics of the breed. To this end great care .... (click to read more)
