We got our 1st Weimaraner Ella from The Weimaraner Club of Great Britain Rescue as my husband was ill and needed something to get him out and about. Ella taught us so much about the breed & in 2011 we decided to get her a playmate so Mistie joined our family. Mistie blossomed into a fine example of the breed so we contacted her breeder who agreed so we decided to attend a few shows and got hooked on showing. Since we began showing which was all new to us we have qualified for crufts for the last 3 years. Mistie comes from great lines containing many champions as you can see from her pedigree.

Weimaraners and German Pointers have shared my home and life for twenty years.
Both are a wonderful, but demanding breed.
My first 'show' dog was 'Mouse,' (SH CH Risinglark Hyperion JW). A wonderful male Weimaraner who was a true gentleman. Mouse has passed his exeptional temperment and good looks to his son 'Logan' (SH CH Ansona Gamekeeper at Aarranz JW Sh CM) and his grandson, 'Riley' (Kalimor Celtic Storm at Aarranz JW).

I have been involved with Weimaraners since 1987. I have shown many to their Show Champion titles & 3 to their full Champion titles as well as breeding a full champion. I believe that a Weimaraner should be able to do the job they were bred for & I try to adhere to this when breeding.
Throughout the shooting season, the dogs are shot over regularly, being used in a beating line and also as picking up dogs.

When breeding I will dock my puppies tails as long as the law allows me to. Each puppy will have a docking certificate to state they have been legally docked by my vet and also .... (click to read more)

Although I have had dogs most of my life, I have been breeding Weimaraners since 1992 when I had my first stud dog 'Ghost' Scalene Southborne followed by his son 'Cloud' Scalene Applause. I was contracted to Diana Hill for 10 years, after she moved from Norfolk I started to use my own Affix Wraithden with 'Wraith' Meltonmill Scotsgrey.

I now have Racy Rioja at Wraithden at stud he has now sired lovely silver litters. He has the same laid back approach to life (but moves with exceptional speed when he wishes!), he, like his predecessors is a proper gentleman.

I owned my first Weimaraner in 1993, Connie. Connie did go on to get her Stud Book No for showing. Having had her hips scored at 8:7 which was average for the breed then. She was trained as a gun dog and was used in the beating line. Then came Claude, my "one in a million" dog. He worked in the beating line to, never false pointing and was a pleasure to own. His Hip Score was 8:8. Then there was Anna, Granddaughter of Connie and Claude. She to, works in the beating line but loves to chase the deer, so it's all very exciting when she's off the lead -working! Her hips are 2:0. She also won her .... (click to read more)
