We are a small kennel located in West Limerick, I have always had an interest in dogs been brought up in a home that kept working Springer Spaniels. When I left home and moved in with my partner Mairead I carried out some research and finally decided we were going to include a Weimaraner in our family.
Now that Weimaraner’s have entered our lives I can not see us being without one they really become part of your life.
We also took in a two year old Norwegian Elkhound “Jedda” to our new home.
We soon began showing our dogs as a way of meeting like minded people and we were hooked. We .... (click to read more)

I have been involved with Weimaraners since 1987. I have shown many to their Show Champion titles & 3 to their full Champion titles as well as breeding a full champion. I believe that a Weimaraner should be able to do the job they were bred for & I try to adhere to this when breeding.
Throughout the shooting season, the dogs are shot over regularly, being used in a beating line and also as picking up dogs.

When breeding I will dock my puppies tails as long as the law allows me to. Each puppy will have a docking certificate to state they have been legally docked by my vet and also .... (click to read more)

We are now into our 19th year of our involvement with the Weimaraner.

The Weimaraner falls into the gundog subgroup of "dogs which hunt, point and retrieve", otherwise known as the HPR Group.

Accordingly we are of the firm belief that the Weimaraner should be allowed to exercise its natural instincts in the field through work or trials.

I breed only occasionally, when a puppy is desired for myself, and/or when there are genuine enquiries for puppies. In any event I breed with a primary focus on promoting the working characteristics of the breed. To this end great care .... (click to read more)
