I have been involved with Weimaraners since 1987. I have shown many to their Show Champion titles & two to their FULL CHAMPION titles. I believe that a Weimaraner should be able to do the job they were bred for & I try to adhere to this when breeding.
Throughout the shooting season, the dogs are shot over regularly, being used in a beating line and also as picking up dogs.

IVYMOOR Weimaraners have been in existence since1979 commencing with our foundation bitch MONROES AMSEL purchased from the late Joan Matuszewska. David has judged the breed since 2000 and has judged at shows throughout the country.

Some of our girls are now regularly worked and accompany our son Daniel on many shoots during the season.

We are strong believers in feeding dogs naturally and all of our dogs are currently fed on a special balanced diet developed for us by a friend.

Since introducing this diet we have never looked back, our dogs are always in tip-top condition.

We are based in Manchester and have been breeding Weimaraners since 1992. Our bloodlines are based on Gil Simpson's Sireva lines. Although we are not currently breeding Weimaraners.

In 2001 we got our first Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen Irish and US Champion Afterglow Errol Flynn from Mike Gadsby and have since gone into partnership with Mike to breed Afterglow PBGVs.

To date we have bred dogs that have gone on to be champions in IIreland, America, Greece and New Zealand as well as in the UK.

We have now relocated to the beautiful countryside village of Holmpton, in rural East Yorkshire , (and still only 400yds from the beach ), both our dogs love being in the countryside ,forageing & hunting along all the hedge- rows, or just basking in the sunshine !

Weimaraners and German Pointers have shared my home and life for twenty years.
Both are a wonderful, but demanding breed.
My first 'show' dog was 'Mouse,' (SH CH Risinglark Hyperion JW). A wonderful male Weimaraner who was a true gentleman. Mouse has passed his exeptional temperment and good looks to his son 'Logan' (SH CH Ansona Gamekeeper at Aarranz JW Sh CM) and his grandson, 'Riley' (Kalimor Celtic Storm at Aarranz JW).
