I have been involved with Weimaraners since 1987. I have shown many to their Show Champion titles & 3 to their full Champion titles as well as breeding a full champion. I believe that a Weimaraner should be able to do the job they were bred for & I try to adhere to this when breeding.
Throughout the shooting season, the dogs are shot over regularly, being used in a beating line and also as picking up dogs.

When breeding I will dock my puppies tails as long as the law allows me to. Each puppy will have a docking certificate to state they have been legally docked by my vet and also .... (click to read more)

    Current Health Tests

We are a small kennel based in Walsall, West Midlands.

We have owned Weimaraners for 26 years. Our first two original Weimaraners were family pets. In 1997, after going 12 months without a Weimaraner in the house, we had another bitch, Remi ( Catruane Anuna). When Remi was 12 months old we got her a friend, Dixie our Norfolk Terrier and they are the best of friends.

A couple of years later, we had a 10 month old rescue bitch by the name of Saffie from IWRRS. Bronte (Petak Kali of Silvermews) came along 2 years later and although she was lightly shown, she was not keen so she .... (click to read more)

  • Bastillian
    Nigel Wroe
    Fleet
    Hampshire
    Current Health Tests

We are now into our 15th year of our involvement with the Weimaraner.

The Weimaraner falls into the gundog subgroup of "dogs which hunt, point and retrieve", otherwise known as the HPR Group.

Accordingly we are of the firm belief that the Weimaraner should be allowed to exercise its natural instincts in the field through work or trials.

I breed only occasionally, when a puppy is desired for myself, and/or when there are genuine enquiries for puppies. In any event I breed with a primary focus on promoting the working characteristics of the breed. To this end great care .... (click to read more)
