We have always had Standard Poodles as a family. My daughter is allergic to dog hair, so poodles being wool were the only dogs we could have. We only started showing when we had Magin Snow Queen (Kassie) in 2003 and then went on to have a litter of pups with her in 2006. we kept one of the pups, Kassieoper Daisy Mae (Bonnie). She did really well showing, qualifing for Crufts. Not quite making her up to a champion but that was not down to the dog but me. This year we have added to our family by breeding with Bonnie .

I am a small family breeder located on the River Blackwater in Essex. I have fairly recently become involved with Standard Poodles. In 2005 Lexie came into my life as a rescue dog, from that moment on I was smitten with the lovely fun loving temperment of the Standard Poodle. I have been bought up with many different breeds but found the Standard Poodle outshines them all. I then bought Lilly with the intention of showing, she has done very well in the show ring and went to Crufts last year. I also do agility with my dogs. I wanted to breed Lilly this year as she has such excellent lines and .... (click to read more)

I started out with German Shepherds in 1983. I did obedience, working trials, agility and showing, all with some degree of success. As time went on I got more seriously into agility and bought myself a Border Collie which then led on to another and then four! I lost the last of my GSDS in 2001, who was twelve years old. I started my own grooming business in 2000 and was beginning to see more poodles in the salon and then at agility club. I fell in love! I bought my first Standard in 2003 and did agility with her and then started showing again. I got well and truly hooked. In 2005 I bred my .... (click to read more)

Breeders of Standard Poodles in a home environment. we have always been interested in the wellbeing of our dogs. We exercise our dogs with long walks and encourage them to socialise with other dogs. Firm believers in discipline we attend training classes with our pups. Our dogs live in our home, and are never in a kennel. We have previously bred Golden labradors, and thought they were delightful dogs, but about 5 years ago we switched to Standard poodles and find them such a pleasure to own and rear.
Poodles are easily trained and that makes them great for people who are perhaps owning a .... (click to read more)

Seven years ago i got my first toy poodle, Toby or Lord Tobias Jug as he likes to be known. This is where my love of the breed started. Although Toby has his problems i would not be without him after i suffered a serious neck injury i don't know what i would have done without him.
About a year later Angela (my sister) wanted a dog to take with her to her horses and she got Ebony a Schipperke, who is fondly known at home as a poodle wanabee. she queues up with the poodles when they get washed and groomed.

From a young age i always had a keen interest in animals. As the years passed my main passion in animals became dogs, in particular the poodle. My interest and knowledge in the poodle became more apparent when i was employed as a kennel hand in a local boarding and breeding kennel. In the time working there i gained a lot of experience in caring for and keeping poodles as a pet.

As my interest grew i knew that one day i wanted to own poodles, to begin with a toy poodle in particular. I enrolled on various animal care courses, one of which being dog grooming. After completion of the .... (click to read more)
