    Here at Taurinstaff (Kevin and Fiona Thisby) we are a family breeder where our dogs live in the home and are an integral part of family life.

    Gus and Mindy have been with us since 2011, and we started showing them in 2012. We were pleasantly surprised with how well they did in the shows(especially Mindy) and they both qualified quickly for Crufts. We enjoy showing them although first and foremost they are our pets, enjoying lots of love and attention from all the family.

    I purchased my first Stafford in 1976 and have had Staffords for 39 years. My affix EUPHEMIA was registered with the UK Kennel Club in 1980 and features prominently on the pedigrees of a number of champions past & present.

    I am a member of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme and all my stock is fully health tested and genetically clear. For me my guide when breeding is for excellent temperament first and foremost, followed by producing stock that adhers to the breed standard, for soundness, for construction & movement.     My husband and I have owned Staffords now for 15 years. At first our Staffords were family pets and spent many hours playing with our children, then approximately 12 years ago we got the showing bug and have been showing ever since. Our Staffords are pets first and formost, then show and breeding dogs second.
    All our dogs are genitically screened for L2-HGA and HC, they are all gentically clear. Our dogs are also tested for PHPV and are all unaffected.

    We are Sikaistaff, A registered kennel with the Kennel club since 2006, however I have grown up with Staffords since the age of 6. It all started, when my dad brought home a stafford bitch called Spice. She was 11 months old, a great show bitch who was shown by my brother. She gained her stud book number and was crufts qualified.

    All our dogs are pets firstly and showing is just fun to them. We have found them to have excellent temperments and are fantastic with children.

    We have now had two litters. We kept Apachestaff Boyds Delight (Molly) from the first litter (sire CH Baysend Nice One Cyril & Dam Pearl of the North East), who has shown and done very well, winning her first show at Durham County at six months and one day old.
