Orliscwt Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers
We have owned dogs since the 1980's. Our first wheaten came into our lives in 2006 when we collected orla who had been born in ireland, the home of the soft-coated wheaten terrier. Within a short space of time we found ourselves with 4 wheatens ( 2 which we had bred ourselves )and our elderly mongrel, tiler. All our dogs are health checked prior to mating to ensure the best possible start in life for their pups. All pups will have blood and eye tests prior to going to their forever homes and will have dna samples taken for storage with the animal health trust.

Our beautiful soft coated wheaten terriers are both family and show dogs. You are as likely to see them in a river or up a mountain as you are to see them in the show ring.
We have both coat types. The more common heavy or English coat and the authentic original silken Irish coat. Both coat types have their fans and we are fans of both.

GSDs have been my passion since I was 12 years old.
I have bred on and of through the years,
Now I am fortunate enough to live in place that is so suited to dogs, with wooded valleys fields and a river makes are longs rambles so enjoyable.
The lines from my first German Shepherd in 1966 still run through my dogs today.
I breed the old fashion type with level backs and solid bone, very important also if a calm gentle temperament.
