I have owned many Dachshunds over the past 20 years or so all have been standards, either long haired or smooth haired and have varied greatly in colour.
I currently own 4 beautiful Dachshunds and my daughter owns one other the older of my dogs are now 8 years old and are enjoying an active life with their children and grandchildren.
I am an occasional home breeder and take a lot of pride in both my dogs and the puppies that they have produced, I have been told some have made it to Crufts but I'm not sure as yet whether any have become champions.

Izumis is a jointly owned affix, myself and my eldest son matt hold it as a joint interest
Here at izumis temprement really matters .

For some time my brother and sister in law also held a seperate interest in the izumis affix (please note not all the litters listed below have been bred by me and matt some are nick and shells) but as from feb 2007 izumis is just owned by matt and myself.

We are members of the kennel club assured breeders scheme .

Life without Standard Dachshunds would be unthinkable! They are my one great passion and have always played a big part in my life. My love of the breed started when I was young, as my parents had them as shared family pets, then, in 1961, I had my first, very own Dachshund (Charlotte) closely followed by another (Sacha), an outstanding bitch and one never to be forgotten.
