I live in a small village near the Brecon Beacons and breed only mini schnauzers. All my dogs are home bred and are kept and reared in the home with the family. No expense is spared in their rearing.

I have been breeding schnauzers for 25 years. I have the largest gene pool in standard schnauzers having imported several dogs. As well as standards I own minis - all these are eye tested and all litters of minis are eye tested prior to homing. I have been top breeder of standards for the last 6 years.
I run a boarding and rescue kennels. The rescue is used by the RSPCA for rehoming dogs and we are also used by Schnauzer rescue.

I have been around dogs since 1974 my first dog was a sable Rough Collie, Jason of Kentine, born 11/11/1973 who was followed a few years later with Ugonys Dream of Oliver, a great blue merle of the old Westcarrs breeding and my love affair with Blue merles.

I got my first Smooth collie in the early 80s from the Cotsbelle kennels of Betty Hodgets where I found them addictive. After many great years in Collies I spent a few years living in Italy.

In the 90s I fell for the Schnauzers. I had always liked them and finally got one for myself.

We now have Smooth collies back .... (click to read more)

    I was once told that
'we do not own the Schnauzer breed, we are merely a care taker and during our time of keeping we must do our up most for the Schnauzer. We must make the right choices to keep the Schnauzer strong and healthy, with temperament and construction in mind ready for the next generation of care takers. The breed will be around for a lot longer than we will'

I have been showing Schnauzers since 1999 and have experience in all 3 sizes of schnauzer more so the standard and the giant.

The schnauzer has stolen my heart and has taken pride of place in my home. My .... (click to read more)

I was born into the world of show dogs with my parents kennel of Afghan hounds, which produced many champions under the KHINJAN affix.
When I left home I bought my first Schnauzer in 1984. He became the breed record holder and the breeds first ch. show group winner and won best of breed at crufts for 7 consecutive years. I have bred 12 UK Schnauzer champions and many overseas.
I own a champion Giant Schnauzer who was top winning bitch in 2007. In 2001, I added Pugs to my kennel and made up my first home bred champion in 2006. In 2003 I bought a German Short Haired Pointer bitch from the .... (click to read more)

We have been breeding and showing dogs for thirty five years, starting in Rough Collies, where we had some success and bred a blue merle Champion bitch. We then bought a Giant Schnauzer puppy who, when she grew up, produced our first champion Giant Schnauzer. Over the years Sandridge produced many champions not only for the home kennel but also for other owners both here and abroad. Our Giants were always hip-scored. We have now downsized to the lovely Miniature Schnauzer .... (click to read more)

Have been interested in the Schnauzer Family since the late 70's and have had my prefix since the middle 80's.Over the years I have been owned by all three sizes. My main interest is the Black Schnauzer and they have filled my time, starting with imported bitches .I judge all the Schnauzer Family at Champ show level. Could never see myself Schnauzerless .

Having been around dogs all of my life in 2010 we chose a black Standard Schnauzer to join our family. We were easily seduced by Heidiís keen intelligence and faithful nature and since then Dita and Ruddi have also joined the 'gang'! My passion for the breed has led me to step into the show ring amongst other activities, but we mostly just enjoy our long walks in the Warwickshire countryside.

There are currently no mandatory health tests required for Standard Schnauzers. However, the future health of the breed is of utmost importance to me, therefore all of my dogs have been eye .... (click to read more)
