We have owned and enjoyed the company of ridgebacks for over 30 years. Our first was an Umtali bitch bred by Gail Adsett, we travelled from Northumberland to Devon to collect her in 1981 and bred from her to provide ourselves and immediate family members with her progeny. Following the sad loss of our last Umtali bitch in 2001 we waited for two years for a Mirengo puppy from Ann Woodrow. In our opinion the Mirengo line evidences the best traits to be found in Ridgebacks and it is for this reason that we continue to breed to ensure the quality of the dogs enjoyed by our family. We are happy to .... (click to read more)

Between them my pack have 13 competition titles to their names. Rio finished 2012 as the UK's .... (click to read more)

I could not have wished for a more beautiful dog, for her excellent temperament and perfect Ridgeback traits and looks.
She was bred by a close friend with the same passion for Ridgebacks, who owns her parents and sister, so I am closely familiar with her whole family, who we visit regularly.
We have been very lucky to find a .... (click to read more)

From the very 1st time I saw my 1st ridgeback I knew that I had to share my life with them and have done so since 1978 when Nelson became my best friend. Since then I have been extremely fortunate and have had the pleasure of always having a ridgeback at home. Jellicoe senior and Nelson and just recently my beautiful Nell are running free over rainbow bridge but we still share our lives with Jellicoe junior now 12 years young and Nells daughter Izzy.
