We have been owned by Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1986; buying her a companion the following year who we were encouraged to show. We spent longer researching the breed before buying our 3rd who became our foundation bitch; Champion Sansilver Pumalanga (Pet name Abby).
We are PROUD to be able to say we have NEVER culled a healthy puppy because of its ridge (or lack of) even when it was recommended to in the breed. Our first litter contained a ridgeless boy who lived until he was 14. We keep a list of people looking for ridgeless puppies.

We first encountered Ridgebacks in 1989 during a trip to South Africa but, for all sorts of reasons waited 20 years before 'switching' to this wonderful breed. My wife and I are both professionals with busy working lives so needless to say we adore the companionship, loyalty and endless hours of fun that we get from our pair who have recently produced a beautiful litter. The dam is absolutely adorable - demure yet fiercely protective. The big guy on the other hand is so laid back that he can sleep standing up - until, that is, he sees a rabbit and then all hell breaks loose! Wish we hadn't .... (click to read more)

I have owned 2 wonderful Ridgeback dogs in the past, sadly passed on.
My partner and I have a home based business, I work part time as a nurse. We live on the scenic Isle of Anglesey with our beautiful Ridgeback bitch Nyah..which aptly means'chosen one'. I could not have wished for a more beautiful dog, for her excellent temperament and perfect Ridgeback traits and looks.
She was bred by a close friend with the same passion for Ridgebacks, who owns her parents and sister, so I am closely familiar with her whole family, who we visit regularly.
