We purchased our first Ridgeback in 1996 who was a ‘liver nose’, and although we did not obtain her with a view to taking her into the show ring, the bug didn’t take long to bite!
Since then we have added to our furry family and now have a full four generations in our Kennels.
We are regularly seen at shows both in the U.K. and on the Continent having achieved many awards including a Group Placing in The Republic of Ireland and a C.A.C.I.B in France to add to the many other awards including the Champion Title gained in the U.K.

Hi we are a small kennel in the heart of Scotland. We have a variety of animals including Horses, Chickens, Cats and Rabbits on our wee farm. In amongst our variety of animals, we have our fantastic dogs, Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We got our 1st ridgeback 9 years ago and from then on there has been no other breed. They are magnificant dogs and we pride ourselves on ridgebacks. Their temperaments are second to none and live on the farm harmoniously with all our other animals. We enjoy showing our dogs when our busy schedule allows and always come out of the ring smiling.

My family moved to South Africa when I was a child and that is where we were first introduced to this stunning breed. Forty odd years later and I still would have nothing else. My pack consists of Milo 8 ½ years, Kara 3 ½ years and Jazzie who is 2. They are always pet dogs first!

When I was lucky enough to find Kara I decided to dabble in a bit of showing – and have never looked back! I now show Kara and Jazzie and we love it and they have both qualified for Crufts every year! However, they are still my gorgeous pet dogs and have been brought up in a normal family household and are a .... (click to read more)

We have bred Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1978. Seven generations of ridgebacks bear the Diamondridge Affix.

Although our principal interest is in breeding lovely ridgebacks to show, we sometimes have pet ridgebacks suitable for family homes.

Our aim is to breed typical dogs, sound in both mind and body.

Our puppies are not seperated from their mother until they are at least 7 weeks old and then she is allowed frequent visits to teach them their manners. All puppies are sold with an information pack, worming and diet sheet.

In 2002 we purchased our first Rhodesian Ridgeback, Jarhiba Gyasi from the Jarhiba Kennels. From the moment we brought her home she settled into our family as though she had always been there. She shares our love of horses, which also are included in our lives.

We wanted Gyasi to have a doggy companion so in late 2004 after carefull planning we mated her to Champion Gunthwaite ActionMan from the renouned Gunthwaite kennels. From this litter we kept Afreya. Mother and daughter do everything together and are constant companions for our son and his friends.
