My parents told me as a teenager if I wanted a dog to leave home .so I did and with the help of the Observer book of Dogs , chose a Shetland Sheepdog ,(small dog as in a bedsit ) unfortunately not suitable for the show ring , so was introduced to obedience, Of course another duly followed suite and moved back home with the pair . Also bred my first litter and registered my Prefix 1963-1966. I worked the shelties up to Championship C in which my I did manage a third place . Current Health Tests
I bought my first Otterhound in 2000 and sadly lost him in 2013. Someone suggested I showed him, I did and had a lot of fun!!.
I had my first Big win at the Hound Show at Stafford 2010 going BOB and then down to the last 8 for best in show.that was with my lovely boy KINGSTREE RAMBLER AT OTTARYX breed by judith Ashworth.
I bred my first litter of Otterhounds in 2010.
All my hounds are hip and elbow scored.And have been through the BVA eye scheme and are tested clear.
