I was brought up with Great Danes, i later bred them and then showed them for a period of time. When my last Great Dane was a year old, I fell completely in love with The Miniature Schnauzers, that was over 12 years ago, and i have never looked back. I have 5 miniature Schnauzers at this time and i love every minute of it. I only breed when i am looking for a new addition to our family, and to improve the breed. They are the most Incredible, Clever, Loving, Loyal, and great fun. First and foremost i breed for Health and Temperament.

I have been breeding Miniature Schnauzers for 15 years and take huge pride in raising beautiful, quality, confident and happy puppies. All our puppies live amongst the family and therefore are used to household noises, children, cats and other dogs. This helps hugely when they leave for their new homes.

My priorities are breeding for temperament, and puppies of correct and good conformation, they are all eye tested and health checked before leaving.

We are a small family kennel in the heart of the New Forest where our dogs can enjoy the freedom of long cool walks under the trees. We are now involved with Cocker Spaniels, and Mini Schnauzers. We no longer breed GSDs, but we do miss them.

We caught our interest in dogs when we purchased our first German Shepherd bitch puppy in 1973 and have been 'hooked' on the breed ever since. We have shown our dogs over the years, but our main interest is in breeding quality dogs with good character and as true to the breed standard as possible. I have been breeding and showing dogs since 1974. My first dog was a sable Rough Collie, Jason of Kentine, born 11/11/1973 who was followed a few years later with Ugonys Dream of Oliver, a great blue merle of the old Westcarrs breeding and my love affair with Blue merles.

I got my first Smooth collie in the early 80s from the Cotsbelle kennels of Betty Hodgets where I found them adictive . After many great years in Collies I spent a few years living in Italy .

In the 90s I fell for the Schnauzers. I had always liked them and finally got one for myself. I never looked back only .... (click to read more)
