    We are a small hobby kennel, who have had extaordinary success, to date we have 3 UK champions and 2 international champions, which included the biggest winning dalmatian of all time, bred by ourselves.

    All of our dogs are kept in the house, not in a kennel, and are very much part of the family. They are all BAER hearing tested,as are all of our puppies who are born here. Health and temperament is right at the top of our list when breeding, and it shows in the quality of our dogs, our dogs are renowned for their sound and happy temperaments.

    I have been Showing dogs for 12 years. Starting with a Schipperke called Pippa / Franhowel Secret Sue. First companion shows, then open, and on to Championship show and for the first time in 2005 the ultimate Crufts.

    Ten years ago I started showing Miniature Schnauzers, my first was a sweet Pepper and Salt called Molly / Miss Devious At Kristec. Seven years ago I started showing the striking Black and Silver with Mandy / Nenevale Snow Joke.

    Jaxmins began in 1988 with a pepper and salt bitch ashwick fancy free jw (ch luke lively at deansgate x ch deansgate auntie nuff) she was bought for jaxson then aged 10, to compete in junior handling. She was their foundation bitch and it was from this bitch that their love for minis began.

    All our dogs are health tested. German Shepherds being hip scored and only bred from if the score is low. Minis are all eye tested anually, all hold clear eye certificates.

    Bought up in the home and garden, our puppies are used to all ages of people and other pets, they all go out in the car, are accustomed to hoovers washing machines and lawn mowers, brooms and mops are a great delight.

    I am a small hobby breeder I will only breed from dogs that meet breed standard requirements and have all health checks done.
    I love to see the development of the pups and there charactors emerge.
    the amenities here for eye tests are VERY limited so we take our girls and boy to the animal health trust to have them eye tested they are given a ECVO cert which the Kennel club have a copy of but because its not BVA they cannot list it but can confirm it.     I bought my first Miniature Schnauzer, Tia, eight years ago.
    Tia is a black bitch with the most fabulous harsh wiry, jet black coat out. She gets this from her father's side, who's from the Havenstad kennels in Belgium.

    I now own all four recognised colours of Miniature Schnauzers, Black, Pepper and Salt, Black and Silver and the White, all of which have fabulous lines in their breeding.

    She is a lovely two and a half year old black and silver miniature Schnauzer. Pippa enjoys Agility training but has not yet entered competition. She won first prize in the Obedience class at the Tinahely show 2010 and was runner up in 2009.
